The Supreme Court of Nevada is the highest court in the state and has locations in Carson City and Las Vegas. Its primary responsibility is to review and rule on appeals from Nevada District Court cases to determine whether procedural errors were made during the case.

Douglas County District Court

The Douglas County District Court is located in Minden, Nevada, and hears probate cases, as well as criminal cases, civil cases, domestic relations cases, adoptions, guardianships, and juvenile matters.

Carson City District Court

The Carson City District Court hears civil, criminal, probate, and family law cases in all of Carson City.

Lyon County District Court

The Lyon County District Court hears cases involving domestic relations, wills and estates, and appeals, as well as civil cases over $10,000.
